Before Pocohantas, John Smith and the Jamestowne Colony, before Plymouth Rock and the Pilgrims, the settlers of Sir Walter Raleigh's colony at Roanoke, North Carolina were enjoying wine, the first American wine, made from muscadine and scuppernong grapes which grew in abundance all around them.
Our recipes and techniques emulate the recipes and techniques of those early colonists. It is our promise to our custermers that Bennett Vineyard Wines will give you a true taste of our American Colonial experience.
Our wines are sold in Harry Teeters stores, some specialty shops and Piggly Wiggly's in North Carolina. We also ship our wines all over the country. Our wines range from semi sweet to dry. We have whites to reds and a variety in between. Feel free to call for an appointment 877.762.9463 or 252.322.7154. You can click on the address above (in the header) for mapquest.
